Official Release of the January 31,
2005 Mason-Dixon Poll Results and House Bill 15

On January 25, 2005 the
Georgia Division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans
commissioned a State-wide poll, which was conducted by
Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. of Washington, D.C. from
Jan. 27 through Jan 31, 2005. The sampling size of the poll
provides a margin of error of plus or minus of 4%.
The poll results
will be discussed during the press conference and the
Legislators who have sponsored pending House Bill 15
(HB 15 is legislation that
provides for a flag referendum) will
be present for questions.
Copies of the official
poll results will be distributed to the members of the press
during the press conference. These poll results are truly
remarkable, and contradicts all other figures and statements
regarding this issue. Copies of the poll results mailed or
